Mary Ann Rodriguez, MD FACP
Healthcare Navigator in Austin, TX
I’m an Internal Medicine physician with over 10 years of diverse experience post-residency training. While I have practiced in the traditional examination rooms, I did so as well in patients’ homes, in the city council, in the courtrooms, and in medical and scientific conferences. I mainly stayed in the Austin Metropolitan Area since after my residency, which I did at the now-demolished University Medical Center at Brackenridge. Our residency program then was at that time sponsored by UT Southwestern in Dallas since there was still no UT Dell Medical School then.
Throughout my diverse medical experience, one thing has been constant: patients would benefit if they or they knew someone who knew how the healthcare system works and helped them navigate it. This is especially true the more they felt their medical condition or their psychosocial situation was too complicated for them.
This is where I would like to help you.
